The 2010 Texas Steak Cookoff was a huge success, and we give all the credit to not only the great cooks, but all our guests who come out for this incredible experience.

Wine Tasting at the Cookoff

The Wine Tasting Event at the 7th Annual Texas Steak Cookoff will feature a wide variety of Texas wines, from sweet and fruity to dry and full-bodied. You’re invited to come, experiment, and see for yourself what has made Texas wineries so popular in recent years.  No advance wine knowledge is required.  Everybody (21 years or older) is invited to participate.

The event will be held from 12:30 to 4:30 pm in the event tent next to Homestead. The cost of $20 includes a commemorative Texas Steak Cookoff wine glass, eight tastes of wine of your choice from a selection of Texas wineries, and the opportunity to talk with winery owners and Texas wine-makers.  Get Tickets Now!

The Texas Steak Cookoff is pleased to announce the second annual VIP Dinner for 2010. This event is sponsored by Homestead in Hico and offers private dining in its courtyard.  Guests will enjoy the special location complete with upscale amenities. Steaks will be prepared by celebrity chef Brian C.
