The 2010 Texas Steak Cookoff was a huge success, and we give all the credit to not only the great cooks, but all our guests who come out for this incredible experience.

Wine Tasting - $20

Includes a commemorative Texas Steak Cook-Off wine glass, eight tastes of wine of your choice from a selection of Texas wineries, and the opportunity to talk with winery owners and Texas wine-makers.

Steak Dinner (VIP Seating) - $100

Our VIP Dinner was added in 2009. Guests will enjoy the special location complete with upscale amenities. Steaks will be prepared by a celebrity chef in an atmosphere of personal service and pampered dining.

Steak Dinner (Regular Seating) - $25

Our regular steak dinner ticket includes a 12oz ribeye steak, two sides, and a chance to win one of the many prizes that will be given away at the event.

Every year the Texas Steak Cookoff is held in the friendly little Texas town of Hico on the northern edge of the Texas Hill Country. Hico is known throughout Texas for its unique shopping and small town western charm. Enjoy free Wi-Fi in the downtown area and quaint bed and breakfasts in Hico and within a 30-mile radius that are well worth the drive. Make reservations early! The 7th annual Texas Steak Cookoff will be hard to miss! The entire Historic Downtown Business District will host the event. Hico is very easy to find…just use Google Maps for a route planner. Hico is approximately 90 miles from Dallas, 70 miles from Ft. Worth, and 100 miles from Austin.
