The 2010 Texas Steak Cookoff was a huge success, and we give all the credit to not only the great cooks, but all our guests who come out for this incredible experience.

Wine Tasting - $20

Includes a commemorative Texas Steak Cook-Off wine glass, eight tastes of wine of your choice from a selection of Texas wineries, and the opportunity to talk with winery owners and Texas wine-makers.

Steak Dinner (VIP Seating) - $100

Our VIP Dinner was added in 2009. Guests will enjoy the special location complete with upscale amenities. Steaks will be prepared by a celebrity chef in an atmosphere of personal service and pampered dining.

Steak Dinner (Regular Seating) - $25

Our regular steak dinner ticket includes a 12oz ribeye steak, two sides, and a chance to win one of the many prizes that will be given away at the event.

Each year over 4,000 people descend on the quaint Texas town of Hico for the largest steak cookoff in the southwestern United States. Two years ago the Food Network was on site to give the event national coverage. Cookoff sponsors recieved tremendous national exposure due to the Food Network program as as well as other exposure that the cookoff provides.

The 7th annual Texas Steak Cookoff is scheduled for May 15, the third Saturday in May, 2010. Thanks to past sponsors, stellar efforts by volunteers, and exposure across the nation by the Food Network, the 7th annual cookoff is expected to be the best ever.

Tickets for individual steak dinners and tasty competition hors d’oeuvres are on sale now on the website. Tickets may also be purchased in stores downtown.
