The 2010 Texas Steak Cookoff was a huge success, and we give all the credit to not only the great cooks, but all our guests who come out for this incredible experience.

Wine Tasting - $20

Includes a commemorative Texas Steak Cook-Off wine glass, eight tastes of wine of your choice from a selection of Texas wineries, and the opportunity to talk with winery owners and Texas wine-makers.
Steak Dinner (VIP Seating) - $100

Our VIP Dinner was added in 2009. Guests will enjoy the special location complete with upscale amenities. Steaks will be prepared by a celebrity chef in an atmosphere of personal service and pampered dining.
Steak Dinner (Regular Seating) - $25

Our regular steak dinner ticket includes a 12oz ribeye steak, two sides, and a chance to win one of the many prizes that will be given away at the event.

Event Overview

The 7th Annual Texas Steak Cookoff starts at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 15th, 2010, in the Historic Downtown Business District of Hico, Texas. This family friendly event offers artisan vendors, local shopping, and of course, a chance to look on as backyard chefs from all over the Southwest compete to see who cooks the best steak in Texas. In addition, enjoy live entertainment for the whole family all day and into the evening. There will also be a wine tasting featuring local Texas wineries that will go on during the event.
